Cat - Hallstatt, Austria

"I'm writing a book of poems. It's based on my life and eyebrows."
Really? That's great, what's it called?
"Blades of Grass. Because I just realized the other day that's what my eyebrows look like."
Sounds good. Can I hear some?
"My tongue, every atom of my blood, form'd from this soil, this
air,
Born here of parents born here from parents the same, and their
parents the same,
I, now seven years old in perfect health begin,
Hoping to cease not till death."
Wow.

"I built my own boat in my garage. I brought it here to sail on the lake for the Corpus Christi Procession. My wife and my friend were going to come with me, but then my friend had a stroke, and my wife stayed back as well so I am here on my own today. Would you like a ride on my boat?"
Thank you, but I have to be on the ferry to catch a train. Your English is very good, did you ever live in America?
"No, I learned it in college in Vienna from two very good teachers. I am 73 now, so that was 51 years ago."
